Windows 7, although an older operating system, still has its loyal users who prefer it over newer versions. However, with the advent of UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) firmware, creating a bootable USB drive or ISO image that can boot on UEFI systems has become a challenge. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a Windows 7 UEFI bootable ISO download.

UEFI firmware uses a different boot process than traditional BIOS. UEFI bootloaders are stored in a specific partition on the USB drive or ISO image, and the UEFI firmware looks for a specific file (usually \EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI ) to boot from.
