I’m working on an older Siemens PLC (S7-200/300/400) and need to transfer a project via the serial port (MPI/PPI). I know the go-to tool for this is (the old green-screen serial transfer utility).
Works on Win10/11 but for legacy serial adapters, or use a real onboard COM port. Set latency to 1ms in Device Manager for USB-to-serial converters. Reminder (can be added by mod): ⚠️ Always download directly from *.siemens.com domains. Third-party sites often bundle adware with old Siemens utilities. Winpcin Siemens Software Download
