Comets vs. Thunderbolts. Score 2–2. Ninety seconds left. Lena received the ball at midfield. The Thunderbolts’ keeper-turned-defender charged her. Instead of following the old Script’s “dribble right” rule, she stopped. Breathed. Then lobbed the ball gently backward —to Marcus, who had crept up from goal. He headed it forward. Lena spun, volleyed, and scored.
