Pkgi.txt File Missing Ps3 Info

I have the latest version of PKGi installed. I thought the pkgi.txt file was supposed to be generated automatically, but it’s not. Am I missing something? Do I need to create the file manually? If so, where exactly does it go, and what should be inside it?

I’ve looked online but the info is kind of scattered. Some people say it’s for custom lists, others say it’s required just to run the app. pkgi.txt file missing ps3
