The film continues the story of John Wick, a retired hitman who finds himself on the run. After killing a High Table member in the previous film, John Wick is declared "excommunicado," meaning he's no longer protected by the Continental Hotel and is a target for all to kill. He has 90 minutes to live before the High Table allows him to rejoin their ranks.
