Open the Settings app (gear icon).

Tap Erase Everything or Confirm . The phone will restart and begin the reset process. This takes 2–5 minutes. Method 2: Hard Reset via Recovery Mode (Use if phone is frozen, locked, or won’t boot) Use this method if you forgot your password, the screen is frozen, or the phone is stuck on the logo. Open the Settings app (gear icon)
Select Factory data reset .
If prompted, enter your phone’s lock screen pattern, PIN, or password. the screen is frozen
Scroll down and tap System .
Read the warning list. Tap Reset Phone or Reset Device .
