First released in April 1995 on a dozen 3.5-inch floppy disks, FlowCalc 32 was the flagship hydraulic modeling tool of the now-defunct SoftFluid Dynamics Inc. FlowCalc 32 is the math." The resurgence began quietly around 2022. As major engineering SaaS providers raised their annual fees by 400% and introduced "seats" and "compute credits," small firms started looking for alternatives. They found FlowCalc 32 on abandoned FTP servers and old backup tapes.
