Goku returns to Earth three years later, just in time for a new threat. A rogue supercomputer from Dr. Gero’s lab (created by the Red Ribbon Army Goku destroyed as a child) has unleashed and Android 18 — unstoppable cyborgs. But an even greater horror arrives: Cell , a bio-android from a future timeline.

Peace returns. Years pass. Goku stays dead, training in Other World. Gohan grows into a teenage scholar. Vegeta has a son, Trunks. Then a warlock named arrives to revive the ancient, pure evil: Majin Buu — a pink, childlike, utterly insane creature who turns people into candy and eats them.

The battle escalates. Frieza, able to transform into four increasingly monstrous forms, toys with everyone. He kills Dende (the new guardian of the Namekian Dragon Balls), then brutally murders Vegeta after the Saiyan prince tearfully begs Goku to avenge their race.
