Delhi Belly Netflix May 2026

4.5/5 (Deducted half a point for making me squirm in my seat).

We’ve all seen the postcards: the golden hour shots of the Taj Mahal, the serene spice markets, and the yoga retreats in Rishikesh. But if you’ve actually been a budget backpacker in Northern India, you know there is another, less glamorous side to the adventure.

Suddenly, our trio is running from a terrifying gangster (the legendary Vijay Raaz), a furious diamond dealer, and a very irritated girlfriend—all while suffering from varying degrees of food poisoning. 1. It’s Unapologetically Irreverent Forget the song-and-dance Bollywood musicals you might be used to. Delhi Belly is gritty, grainy, and gloriously R-rated. The language is foul, the situations are absurd, and the humor is often pitch-black. One scene involving a constipated hitman is widely regarded as one of the funniest (and grossest) sequences in modern cinema.
