California Wildcats Test | Of Strength V 277
“This is a test of speed and reflex,” Sasha declared, her eyes flickering with the same intensity as the flashing sphere. “We have to neutralize the pulses before they hit the ridge’s ancient markers. If they’re damaged, the ridge loses its protective field.”
The slab traveled the length of the ridge in a fluid motion, each step timed to the monolith’s humming. As they placed it on the designated platform, the monolith emitted a low, approving tone. The first trial was complete. The monolith’s left arm extended, revealing a sleek, metallic sphere the size of a basketball. Old miners speak of a giant iron monolith that appears out of thin air, humming with a low, metallic thrum. In the old days it was a massive, hulking automaton called , forged in a secret laboratory by a forgotten government project. The number was all that remained of its name; the rest of its origin had been scrubbed from every record. The monolith would rise from the dust, its pistons and gears grinding in perfect synchrony, and any who dared approach would have to prove they were worthy of the ridge’s protection. “This is a test of speed and reflex,”

Remembered times of days gone by. Daddy got the standard panther and we had our fun living in the north east when we actually got snow in the winter. So like 4 months of fun. Had it for 3 years but he sold it well because me being not afraid to run it like I stole it & mom worried I would kill myself or worse🙄. But life went on and years later in my 20’s I got another sled for one winter. And yes I sold it for the same reason, before I killed myself or worse 😁. But hey even with all the other things I’ve done I’m still here and pushing on showing the grandkids and other young ones how to ride everything and how it ain’t so easy to keep up with me ak uncle Art, ak ‘pops’ ak Big Daddy 😁😁😁😁
