"Black Swan" is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The film stars Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, and Mila Kunis. The movie follows the story of Nina Sayers, a young ballerina who descends into madness while preparing for the lead role in a production of Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake".

The film begins with Nina Sayers (Natalie Portman), a talented but fragile ballerina, who is struggling to balance her artistic ambitions with the pressures of her demanding career. When the company's artistic director, Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel), announces that he is looking for a new Swan Queen, Nina sees this as her chance to shine.

As Nina becomes increasingly obsessed with the role, she begins to experience strange and terrifying hallucinations. Her rival, Lily (Mila Kunis), a sensual and free-spirited dancer, seems to be undermining her confidence and fuelling her paranoia.

As the production's opening night approaches, Nina's mental state deteriorates rapidly. She becomes convinced that her director and fellow dancers are manipulating her, and her grip on reality begins to slip.
