While Apple’s USB Ethernet adapter (e.g., Apple USB Ethernet Adapter, Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet) is designed primarily for macOS, it can work on with the right driver. However, there’s no “official” Apple driver for Windows — instead, Windows uses a generic driver or a Realtek/AX88179 driver depending on the chip.
